A Five-Song EP · 2026

Poems from a
hill above the bay,
sung by a machine.

Five poems written by Bob Dougherty over a lifetime, set to music with the help of AI. Recorded in the fog, somewhere above Tiburon.

A kid in the world.

A young man, listening.
A young man, listening.
A grandpa on the hill.
A grandpa on the hill.

About Bob.

Bob Dougherty has been writing poems for as long as anyone can remember, quietly collecting them on a site called ViewFromABob.com.

These five — pulled from the stack — were handed to a model in 2026 and came back as songs. The voice you hear is not his, but the words always are.

He lives on top of a hill in Tiburon, California, with a sweeping view of the Bay. Most mornings start in fog. Most evenings end in gold.
